Get the highest score out of 10 for each puzzle

Get the highest streak of correct theme-words (the horizontal word in orange) over consecutive days

To get the best score, you will need to correctly guess:

• as many clue-words (vertical words) as possible
• the theme-word (horizontal word coloured in orange)

The key thing to note is that each of the clue-words relates to the theme-word in some way!

Get the highest score out of a possible 10 points:

• 5 points proportionally awarded for correct clue-words
• 3 points for a correct theme-word
• 2 points awarded for time points – i.e. how fast you can complete the puzzle (while also correctly guessing the theme-word)
• If you average 20 seconds or less per word in total, you receive 2 points
• If you average 20-30 seconds per word, you receive 1 point
• If you average over 30 seconds per word, you receive 0 time points

• Uncover the clue for each clue-word by pressing the top cell, e.g.

  

As you can see, all the all the clue-words are related to the theme-word in some way.

In this example, the clue-words were:

• PICNIC
• PLAYGROUND
• TREES
• WALKING

Which are all related to the theme-word: PARK

View the game board in your preferred way by clicking on the zoom icon in the corner

• This button enables you to either view the entire game board, or through a smaller window. You can easily switch between views as you play to suit your preference.

Think you’ve figured out the theme-word?

You can easily enter your solution by firstly long-pressing the first cell of the theme-word, then once it turns red you can type horizontally. To return to vertical typing mode, simply click anywhere on the game board outside of the theme-word.

Feeling stuck?

Long-press on any cell that isn’t on the theme-word to be prompted with the option of revealing that letter. Each hint will reduce your total score by 0.5 points, so use them wisely. Squares will turn purple once your hint has been revealed.

• Once you have completed as much of the game as you can, press ‘END’ to finish.

• The solution to the theme-word can be found at the top of the game board once the game is complete.

• Solutions for each clue-word can be found by pressing the first cell of each clue word then viewing the word at the bottom. The solution is ‘SUCTION’ in this example:

  

• View the score for your game in the ‘MY SCORE’ section in the pop-up after you have finished.

• You can also view your average and highest scores of all games you have played in the ‘MY STATS’ section.

• Instantly share your score and game summary with friends by pressing on the ‘SHARE’ button at the bottom of the pop-up.
